Ghost Month!

Me? Battling the heat and humidity, and swearing it's also hot flashes, no thanks to premenopause. But after talking to a few people, I have come to this conclusion: it's the goddamn weather!. Drinking a lot of water, cold showers, yeesh - I hate Singapore during the "summer" months. It has always been warm already, but it seems worst now.
A couple of days ago was Singapore's National Day. The usual Twitter snark started the moment the parade began. People were generous with their needling, but I can't help think they love the country too, with all its faults.
