I updated my list of published works, and for 2015 -
The Sun Boat Heads East, Bards and Sages Quarterly, Jan.
Megumi’s Quest, Year’s Best YA Speculative Fiction 2013, edited by Julia Rios and Alisa Krasnostein, Twelfth Planet Press
Charmed Life, Cranky Ladies of History, edited by Tehani Wessely and Tansy Rayner Roberts, FableCroft Publishing
The Book of Phoenii, speculative poetry and flash fiction about mythical birds.
I Growled, Truancy, Issue One (April 2015).
Representing Marginalized Voices in Historical Fiction and Fantasy, Strange Horizons.
The Lessons of the Moon, Accessing The Future.
Letters To Tiptree, edited by Alisa Krasnostein and Alexandra Pierce
Dragon Dancer, Lantana Publishing.
Wolf At The Door, Fox Spirit Books.
Obsidian Moon, Obsidian Eye, Fox Spirit Books.
Crow Girl, Tincture Journal, Issue 12.
The Lessons of the Sun, TFF-X: Ten Years of The Future Fire.
It has been a bleak year for acceptances and my rejections list is long as a saint's scroll. But I am happy for one major acceptance - my YA sff novella with racing dragons!
I have basically lost my trust in the sff community - and in certain groups of people, POC/non-white, included. And that how I am frustrated at how POC/non-white sff writers are policed, in how they behave and think. After a while, you know, we start believing this shit.
That being said, I am thankful for the support I see as well. Thank you so much, folks! :) Without your help and support, THE SEA IS OURS won't have taken off. I am proud that the anthology is making waves.
