Submitted a story to Clarkesworld. Chances are that it won't get published. I mean, who would accept a submission from an unknown, an Asian/non-white and - gasp - Singapore (a part of China, isn't it?).

I am full of cynicism today.

It does make me fume to think that publishers would only publish from a Non-White writer in certain genres and limited ones at that. And limitless white people ones elsewhere.

At the moment, what strikes me is that Clarkesworld looks very US-centric. Feels unfriendly to non-US citizens.

Hey, good luck! I reckon Clarkesworld won't be prejudiced in the way you're concerned over, in fact someone I know, who's from the Philippines, had her story published there. Let me go find it....
