True. There are folks who argue that full retention is impossible, since there is land scarcity in Singapore.

It is very sad. :( and of course, even everytime I go home, the landscape of Singapore changes. I wouldn't argue that say, Beauty World (along Bukit Timah) is a historical site, but it already makes me sad knowing that it's going to get renovated.

I'm just. Not sure what we can do, except build up. Or not build.
