Lol, my GP teacher gave up nagging on me - I never concentrated in class, and yet always got A1 for essays. I am just that good ah! :P

I went and did a bit of cursory research, and apparently cicadas live in the tropics too. so... hmm. I don't know what DOES make those piercing sounds in the Bukit Timah Nature reserve - crickets or cicadas or both. :)
